12th Annual Statewide Summit on Homelessness and Housing coming to Hutchinson.

The Kansas Statewide Homeless Coalition is convening its 12th Annual Statewide Summit on Homelessness and Housing in Hutchinson at the Ramada Conference Center. It’ll be held April 12th through 13th. The theme is “Making it Crystal Clear: Homelessness in Kansas” 

The featured keynote speaker is Nan Roman, Executive Director of the National Alliance to End Homelessness. The official release of the Kansas Statewide Point-in-Time Count results from the January 2011 count will be presented by a panel of statewide Continuum of Care representatives. 

A Community Reception will be held on Tuesday evening, April 12 from 5:30 -7 at the Ramada Conference Center. The public is welcomed and encouraged to attend the Summit and the Community Reception. 

There is still time to register on-line until April 7th at noon! After that time, you will need to register on site and may not be assured of your inclusion in the meal count. For more information, visit http://kshomeless.com/annual-summit/2011-summit.

There is a small registration fee of only $25 to attend the conference, with most meals provided. CEU’s can be earned with a small processing fee of $10.
